Grar's problems with Ubuntu: Lacking support in 32 and 64-bit editions for this barely functional laptop. Kernel decides to lock computer up even on loading LiveCD without noapic argument. Also, requires a 12-step program to get the built-in wireless card to work, which at present only works half the time anyway, in Windows XP. (See ndiswrapper crap for details.) Hmm. It appears the "mouse cursor stuck at center of screen" issue or whatever it was for strategy games in Wine has disappeared.
