[edit] Setup instructions

• Fix bios per lifehacker article
• Kalyway 10.5.1
• Turn off sleep mode
• Update 10.5.2 (OUT OF DATE)
  • Run Kalyway_hack_10.5.2ComboUpdate
  • Don't restart when it's done
  • Run kernel update (kalyway_10.5.2_kernel.mpkg)
• Update 10.5.3 source
  • Install 10.5.3 combo update
  • DO NOT RESTART when it is done. just leave the window open
  • Run the kernel update and pick "modbin kernel 9.3"
  • Restart
  • When the computer is booting and it says "Darwin ... Press any key to enter boot options" go ahead and press any key.
  • Type "update -v" and press enter.
  • It think for a couple minutes, then restart, then you should be good to do.
• Fix LAN: Remove the current "ethernet" connections (using the "-" button) until it stops reappearing. Then re-add 3 ethernet connections selecting a different "ethernet" each time. These represent the two ethernet ports and the one wifi port.
• (optional) run virginizer.zip to get rid of extra software and other modifcations made by kalyway
• (optional) calibrate monitor
• (optional) set up time machine

  • Or maybe just go to the "Sharing" control panel, enable apache. Make sure PHP is working. Install MySQL from their website. Install PHPMyAdmin form their site as well... That could work?
